What makes prolactin biology such a promising target in hair loss therapy? Our Founder and CEO, Sean McClain, recently joined educational hair loss podcaster Joe Tillman on the Hairloss Insider Podcast to discuss the biology behind prolactin and ABS-201—our AI-designed antibody currently being evaluated in the Phase 1/2a HEADLINE Clinical Trial. Key updates: - In in vivo studies and translational human ex vivo scalp models, ABS-201 demonstrated a novel approach to stimulate hair follicle regeneration, promote durable hair regrowth, and regenerate the stem cell niche while promoting key growth modulators. - Positive interim Phase 1 data demonstrated an emerging, favorable safety and toleraability profile, along with an estimated half-life of at least 65 days, which supports the potential for a targeted dosing interval of two or three injections over six-month period.
